The Central Wisconsin Math League is a series of 3 meets held at UW Stevens Point. Approximately thirty area schools bring their 12 brightest math students to participate in the meets. The schools are split into 4 different school size divisions based on enrollment.
Twelve students (four in each of the three categories - Geometry, Algebra, and Advanced) from PHS will travel to UWSP to take the individual test. This year the first meet will be held on Thursday, November 10th. The second meet will be held on January 25, 2017 followed by the last one on April 5, 2017. CWML was started in 1970 and Pittsville has a history of placing high. Mrs. Grossman restarted the participation of CWML by Pittsville when she started teaching here in 2014 after PHS took a few years off.
