Dear Community Members,
Official referendum results indicate community support for the proposed $6.7M new CTE Facility and school improvement projects! I have shared the official press release below.
Thank you to the many groups and organizations that have welcomed the District and provided input throughout the process – your time and interest matters. A special note of thanks to all who engaged in planning and provided important feedback to help shape solutions. Information regarding next steps for the design and construction process will come in the months ahead, and after we address important, current concerns.
Please stay safe and well.

TECH ED DEPARTMENT RECEIVES WISCONSIN FAST FORWARD TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION EQUIPMENT GRANT
|
Congratulations to the Pittsville School District Technology Education Department. They were recently awarded a Wisconsin Fast Forward Technology Education Equipment Grant in the amount of $28,5000. The purpose of the Technical Education Equipment grants is to train middle and high school students in advanced manufacturing fields, many of which have quality job openings. This grant is also intended to smooth the transition of students who choose to enter the workforce after high school, providing students and their families the opportunity to reduce higher education costs by providing dual enrollment credits, industry-endorsed certificates, and technical endorsements on high school diplomas.
The grant will fund new metal fabrication and machining equipment to prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing. The Fast Forward grants are intended to reimburse school districts for the purchase and installation of equipment that provide children with vocational training and technical education, which will include the costs of equipment, operational software, and instructional materials.
