From the Office of Mrs. Friday, PK - 8 Principal

Welcome to Pittsville Elementary School (Grades 4K-5) and Pittsville Junior High (Grades 6-8). Our student population is about 415 and we have approximately 50 staff members who make our school an inviting, safe, and wonderful learning environment with high expectations for all students. Our school is located in the center of the state, in a rural community, with such wonderful community support! The students and staff focus on our four Panther Traits: Responsible, Respectful, Honorable, and Engaged. We feel these traits help students be successful in school and in their lives. Our school-wide approach to PBIS helps staff members stay consistent as we hold students accountable for their actions in a kind, caring, and respectful way.

We are looking forward to a wonderful learning year!
